Mission trips are a great way to serve the Lord and others.
1998 'Work and Witness' mission trip to Sun Valley AR.
Sun Valley Indian School began in 1963 to provide a school that would
make a difference in the lives of Native American children from various
reservations. Now, 40 years later, Sun Valley Indian School is a campus consisting of 72
acres and 32 buildings. This project was with team members from the Bowling Green Church of the Nazarene.
My work included various electrical and control work on the school campus.
2000 Technical Mission Trip to Hillcrest
International School. Hillcrest International School is a
Christian K-12 school located in Papua (formerly known as Irian Jaya),
Indonesia, one of the most remote regions of the globe. The HIS staff
provide a quality education, with very modern facilities, in a family-like
environment. The HIS students represent countries from all over the earth. Work
included upgrade of a
32 station analog key system with a 56 port PBX system.

2000 Technical Mission Trip to New Life Ranch in
Oklahoma. New Life Ranch is a nondenominational Christian camp
that exists to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who have not trusted
Him for their salvation, through retreats, summer camps, and leadership development
seminars. Work at NLR involved the replacement of 32 station analog key system with
a digital
hybrid system including voice mail.
Multiple Technical Mission Trips to Springhill Camps
in Evart, MI. SpringHill Camps is a world-class youth
camping organization with two locations in Michigan and Indiana. With over 33
years of camping excellence, they provide high scale activities, intuitive and
age appropriate programming, and creative housing units for guests and
campers. Work included replacing existing analog PBX with expanded digital
system and installation of optical fiber for their data network.
2001 Technical Mission Trip to Cameroon,
Africa. Banso Baptist Hospital (BBH) is located in Kumbo in the
Northwest Province of Cameroon. It is a Christian mission health referral center
which has been serving the needs of the local African community since 1949. The
hospital, along with its affiliated health center and public health projects, is
considered by any African to be the best hospital in Cameroon. BBH is
made up of five major patient wards, each of which has about 40 beds, totaling
200 beds. Work included the installation of a 165 station PBX with 10,000
feet of outside plant cable and about 8,000 feet of inside wires and jacks.

2002 Technical Mission Trip to Nigeria, Africa.
West Africa Theological
Seminary (WATS) (formerly Wesley International Theological Seminary) is
Nigeria's largest interdenominational seminary. WATS opened its
doors in 1989. After eleven years of growth it is now poised for even more
dynamic national and international training for the Church in Africa… one of
the fastest-growing segments of the body of Christ worldwide. WATS is
uniquely equipped and located to train Christian leaders of Africa's next
generation. Work at this site included the installation of a 56
station PBX at West Africa Theological Seminary. PowerPoint presentation

2002 Technical Mission Trip to Word of Life Bible Institute in Owen Sound,
Ontario, Canada. The purpose of Word of Life™ Fellowship Canada
is the Evangelization and Discipleship of youth consistent with the Holy
Scriptures through dynamic Bible Camps, Local Church Ministries, and Bible
Institutes. Upgrade of an 8 station key system to a 48 station PBX to
serve the entire campus. PowerPoint presentation coming soon.
2003 Technical Mission Trip to Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The Amsterdam Project is
a European church plant of Great Commission
Ministries based in Orlando, FL. Work included the installation of
sound and lighting for their primary meeting space, called the Zolder (or attic.)
2004 Technical Mission Trip to
Sentani, Papua, Indonesia at the SIL
International regional office. For over 70 years, SIL has
partnered globally with people groups, organizations and government agencies to
study, document and assist in developing the world’s lesser-known languages
through research, translation, and literacy. Work included the
installation of a PBX and voice wiring at their Indonesia regional office.
